How do I identify my Ford Focus year and series?
Confirm whether the Ford Focus is a Hatch, Convertible, Sedan or Wagon, then read the manufacture label in the right-hand doorway.
A 2018 Focus may be SA or LZ, and they use different wipers. SA has a longer bonnet, wider grille and sharper headlights; LZ has the shorter preceding body. The 2015 LZ/LW MKII update does not change the blades or connector.

How to install front wiper blades for the Ford Focus?
For SA, LZ and LW Focus blades, press the broad top button and push the connector straight off the flat arm. Bring the replacement onto the rail until the button rises through its opening. LS / LT / LV uses a side pin that seats through the adaptor, while LR uses a conventional J-hook.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Ford Focus?
Focus Hatch rear fittings changed with the series. SA has a slide-on tongue, so pull the blade along the arm channel and push the replacement back to its stop. LZ and LW use a fork snap-clip; LS / LT / LV uses the same family with a different blade shape. LR uses a rear J-hook.

How do I activate wiper service position on a Ford Focus?
On an SA Focus, switch the ignition off and, within three seconds, hold the wiper lever in the single-wipe position. Release it when the arms stop upright. Lower both arms onto the glass before switching the ignition on again.
What's the difference in the Ford Focus SA and LZ?
The 2018 - 2022 SA Focus moved to Ford's C2 platform, bringing more cabin room, less weight and a more advanced safety and infotainment package. The 2015 - 2018 LZ is the final update of the previous platform and uses the earlier interior design.
