How do I install my wiper blades?

How do I identify my Ford Ranger year and series?
The Ford Ranger build label is reached through the right-hand front or rear doorway and gives the manufacture month and year. Match that date to PY (2022 - 2026), PX3 Mk3 (2018 - 2022), PX2 Mk2 (2015 - 2018), PX1 Mk1 (2011 - 2015), PK or PJ.
Check a 2022 Ranger carefully because PY and PX3 Mk3 use different blades. PY has the wider body, C-clamp headlights and usually a portrait centre screen; PX3 Mk3 has the narrower body and a landscape dashboard.

What is the length of the Ford Ranger wiper blades?
A PY Ranger uses 25 inches (625 mm) on the driver side and 17 inches (425 mm) on the passenger side. PX1, PX2 and PX3 use 24 inches (600 mm) with 16 inches (400 mm). PJ and PK have matching 18-inch (450 mm) blades.
How to install front wiper blades for the Ford Ranger?
Okay, first get the PY Ranger wipers into the raised position and keep control of the spring-loaded arm. Push the top button and slide the old blade off the narrow flat arm. The replacement slides straight on; stop when the button pops through the square hole, tug the blade once, lower it carefully and try the wipers.
What connector type does the Ford Ranger use?
Ranger front connectors changed with the series. PY has a narrow push button, PX2 and PX3 have a wide push button, while PX1, PK and PJ use J-hooks.
Did Ford Ranger wiper blade sizes change between generations?

Once the work is done and the arms are back on the glass, select Accessory mode again, turn the wipers off and let them park.
What's the difference in the Ford Ranger PY and PX3?
The 2022 - 2026 PY Ranger is wider, roomier and far more digital, with C-clamp front styling, a portrait centre screen and available V6 power. The 2018 - 2022 PX3 Mk3 uses the narrower previous body and a more conventional dashboard.
