How do I identify my Holden Astra year and series?
Confirm the Holden Astra body first: Hatch, Convertible, three-door Hatch, Sedan or Wagon. Read the manufacture date on the compliance label in the door opening and check the VIN.
The 2016 - 2020 BK is a Hatch. Sedan choices are PJ for 2014 - 2017 and BL for 2017 - 2018, so body shape and the exact build year resolve those overlaps. On older Astras, AH has a taller, more angular nose and larger swept lamps; TS has a rounder body and simpler headlights.

How to install front wiper blades for the Holden Astra?
Wide push-button Astra arms release by pressing the broad button and sliding the connector out along the arm; insert the replacement on the same rail until the button returns. For side-pin versions, open the side lock, move the blade clear of the pin and align the new connector over that pin before closing the lock. J-hook cars require the blade to turn across the arm, travel towards the pivot and slip around the curved hook; draw the new adaptor away from the pivot until its catch engages.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Holden Astra?
BK and PJ Hatch models use a rear hook-and-socket connector. Pivot the blade away from the glass, unclip the socket from the arm hook and press the replacement socket into place. The 2012 - 2013 Wagon and AH Hatch or Wagon use a rear fork snap-clip; release the clip from the fork and seat the new connector until it locks. TS Hatch uses a rear fork snap-clip of a different family. TR Hatch carries a J-hook rear fitting, removed by rotating the blade and guiding the hook through its adaptor.
What connector type does the Holden Astra use?
BL, BK and PJ use wide push-button front connectors. The 2012 - 2013 Wagon and AH variants use side-pin fittings. TS and TR models use J-hooks.
Did Holden Astra wiper blade sizes change between generations?
Yes. Front pairs progress from 18/18 inches on TR to 20/19 on TS, 22/18 on AH, 26/24 on PJ, 28/24 on BK and 26/26 on BL. Rear-equipped bodies range from 12 to 18 inches.
Do pre-facelift and facelift Holden Astra vehicles use different wiper sizes?
No. AH, TS and TR keep the same blade lengths across their related updates.
Do the Holden Astra Hatch and Sedan use the same wiper blades?
