Holden Calais Wiper Blades

Holden Calais blade sizes by series and body:

ZB Calais front blades use J-hook arms. Raise and steady one arm, open the adaptor cover and feed the hook through the connector. Pull the replacement back along the hook until it locks, check it with a short tug, then lower the arm onto the glass by hand.

Rear fittings vary across Calais Wagons. VF and VE use a hook-and-socket blade: rotate the blade away from the arm, free the moulded socket, then press the replacement onto the hook until it snaps home. VY/VZ, VT/VX, VR/VS, VN/VP and VL Wagons use J-hook rear arms, so guide the hook through the adaptor and pull until the latch engages.

ZB, VY/VZ, VT/VX, VR/VS, VN/VP and VL Calais models use J-hook front connectors. VF and VE use pinch-tab front arms.

Yes. ZB uses 24/20-inch fronts. VF and VE move to 26/15 inches, VY/VZ and VT/VX use 22/20 inches, and VR/VS, VN/VP and VL use two 20-inch fronts. Wagon rear blades are 12 inches on VF/VE and 16 inches on the older supported series.

Front sizes match between supported bodies within each Calais series. The body difference is at the rear: Sedans use front blades only, while the supported Wagons add a rear blade; ZB Hatch and Wagon bodies are also rear-wiper vehicles.

Sedans use front blades only. Wagon bodies have a rear wiper, and the ZB Hatch is also fitted with one.

ZB uses J-hook front arms, VF and VE use pinch tabs, then VY/VZ through VL return to J-hooks.

The ZB Calais is based on the imported front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive Commodore platform and was offered as Sedan, Wagon and Hatch. The VF Calais belongs to the Australian-built rear-wheel-drive Commodore family, with a more traditional sedan and wagon layout.
