How do I identify my Mazda CX-9 year and series?
Inside the CX-9 driver's doorway, the certification label provides the date. Confirm it against the VIN.
TC covers 2016 - 2023. The earlier TB is split into the original, 1st Facelift and 2nd Facelift choices. For a 2016 build, TC has Mazda's large shield-shaped grille and slim headlights, while TB 2nd Facelift has a smaller, rounder grille and broader lamps. The 2013 and 2010 updates are identified by the changed grille, fog-light surrounds and bumper details.

What is the length of the Mazda CX-9 wiper blades?
TC Mazda CX-9 models use a 24-inch (600 mm) driver blade, 18-inch (450 mm) passenger blade and 14-inch (350 mm) rear. All three TB versions use 26 inches (650 mm), 17 inches (425 mm) and a 14-inch rear.
How to install front wiper blades for the Mazda CX-9?
TC uses a forked push-button fitting. Press the release, slide the blade out of the fork and guide the replacement between the two sides until the button locks. A TB has J-hooks instead: release the adaptor, move it down the curved arm and pull the new blade back into the bend.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Mazda CX-9?
The CX-9 rear blade has a hook-and-socket attachment. Hold the tailgate arm clear, rotate the blade backwards beyond its wiping angle and separate the centre socket. Press the new socket over the arm hook, then turn the blade forwards and check its pivot.
What connector type does the Mazda CX-9 use?
TC CX-9 models use forked push-button front connectors. TB, including both facelifts, uses J-hook front arms. The rear attachment is hook-and-socket across both series.
Did Mazda CX-9 wiper blade sizes change between generations?
Yes. TC changes the CX-9 front pair to 24/18 inches from the TB series' 26/17 inches. Both use a 14-inch rear blade, and the front connector changes from J-hook on TB to forked push button on TC.
Do pre-facelift and facelift Mazda CX-9 vehicles use different wiper sizes?
No. The original TB, 1st Facelift and 2nd Facelift all use 26-inch (650 mm) and 17-inch (425 mm) front blades with a 14-inch (350 mm) rear.
Do all Mazda CX-9 generations use the same front wiper-arm connector?
The 2016 - 2023 TC Mazda CX-9 uses forked push-button front arms. All 2007 - 2016 TB versions use J-hook connectors.
What's the difference in the Mazda CX-9 TC and TB 2nd Facelift?
The 2016 - 2023 TC CX-9 moved to a lighter platform, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a more refined cabin with upgraded safety. The 2013 - 2016 TB 2nd Facelift retains the larger V6 drivetrain and older dashboard architecture.
