How do I identify my Mercedes-Benz B-Class year and series?
The 17-character Mercedes-Benz B-Class VIN can be read at the base of the windscreen. Cross-check it against the manufacture date on the vehicle identification details to confirm W247, W246 or W245.
At the 2019 change, W247 has a wide twin-screen dashboard and slimmer lamps; W246 Facelift retains separate instruments and the earlier centre display. Their blade sizes match, but the series code remains useful for the vehicle comparison.

How to install front wiper blades for the Mercedes-Benz B-Class?
For W247 and W246 Facelift, lift the arm and swing the blade across it. Pull the small cover back, release the keyed top-lock and lift the blade free. Seat the replacement squarely, close the lock and check it before lowering the arm.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Mercedes-Benz B-Class?
At the back of the B-Class, the fitting is a fork snap-clip. Hold the arm up, unclip the blade from the fork, align the replacement in the same seat and press until it snaps securely into place.
What connector type does the Mercedes-Benz B-Class use?
W247 and W246 Facelift use keyed top-lock fronts. W246, W245 Facelift and W245 use pinch-tab fronts. All use a fork snap-clip rear fitting.
Did Mercedes-Benz B-Class wiper blade sizes change between generations?
