How do I identify my Mitsubishi Outlander year and series?
Find the Mitsubishi Outlander identification plate in the engine bay or the vehicle label and record the manufacture date, VIN and series letters. Match them to the following ranges:
The series letters are especially useful at the 2006, 2012 and 2022 boundaries. Compare the exterior shape only when the date sits at one of those changeovers.

What is the length of the Mitsubishi Outlander wiper blades?

How to install front wiper blades for the Mitsubishi Outlander?
Start at the driver's side of the Outlander. Bring the arm up, pinch the J-hook adaptor release and push the old wiper downwards. Once the hook clears the slot, take the blade away while still holding the arm.
Turn the new adaptor towards the hook, pull the blade up into place and listen for the lock. Repeat on the passenger side, then wet the glass before checking the sweep.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Mitsubishi Outlander?
Lift the Outlander's rear arm and rotate the blade away from the glass. ZM uses a fork snap-clip: release the clip, remove the blade from the fork and press the replacement back until it catches. ZJ, ZK, ZL, ZG and ZH use a hook-and-socket attachment, which pivots free and snaps back over its locating point.
What connector type does the Mitsubishi Outlander use?
The front connector is a J-hook across ZE / ZF, ZG / ZH, ZJ / ZK / ZL and ZM Outlanders. The rear mechanism is series-specific, so its replacement must be selected by the model code.
Did Mitsubishi Outlander wiper blade sizes change between generations?
The ZM and ZJ / ZK / ZL use identical lengths: 26 inches (650mm) driver, 18 inches (450mm) passenger and 12 inches (300mm) rear. Their front J-hooks also match, although the ZM rear attachment is a different fork snap-clip style.
Do all Mitsubishi Outlander generations use the same front wiper-arm connector?
The ZE / ZF, ZG / ZH, ZJ / ZK / ZL and ZM Outlander all use J-hook front wiper arms. The curved hooks accept the centre adaptors on the replacement driver and passenger blades.
What's the difference in the Mitsubishi Outlander ZM and ZJ/ZK/ZL?
The 2022 - 2026 ZM Outlander moves to a larger Alliance-developed platform with a more spacious, digital cabin and upgraded plug-in hybrid system. The 2012 - 2021 ZJ / ZK / ZL is the smaller previous generation with older infotainment and safety technology.
