How do I identify my BMW X5 year and series?
BMW's Driver's Guide places the VIN behind the windscreen or in the engine compartment. Use that identifier to retrieve the vehicle-specific production data and determine the BMW X5 series.
G05 LCI and G05 share the same blade fitment, so the distinctions that affect the wipers are the moves to F15/F85, E70 and E53. Those groups alter blade lengths, rear size and, within E70, the front connector.

How to install front wiper blades for the BMW X5?
G05 X5 blades use a wide push-button fitting. Set the arms where they can be lifted clear of the bonnet, press the broad top release and slide the old blade off the flat arm. Keep the replacement aligned, push it on until the button rises through its opening, then test the lock before returning the wipers.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a BMW X5?
The G05 rear arm uses a slide-on tongue. Raise the tailgate wiper, rotate the blade for access and draw the moulded channel off the straight arm end. Start the 14-inch replacement squarely on the tongue, slide it fully home and lower the arm under control.
What connector type does the BMW X5 use?
G05 LCI, G05 and E70 Facelift use wide push-button front connectors. F15/F85 and both E53 groups use J-hooks; pre-facelift E70 uses a side-pin fitting.
Did BMW X5 wiper blade sizes change between generations?
