How do I identify my Holden Commodore year and series?
Confirm whether the Holden Commodore is a Sedan, Wagon, Hatch or Ute because the body styles did not change series at the same time. The identification plate is on the front left door frame; use its month-and-year field as the build date where fitted.
Keep the VIN handy and compare the plate date with the body and front styling.

How to install front wiper blades for the Holden Commodore?
With a VF or VE Commodore, squeeze the two pinch tabs on the adaptor and slide the blade away from the arm end. Do not release the metal arm while it is bare. Align the replacement on the flat arm, push until both tabs spring into place, check that neither side is sitting proud and lower it onto the screen.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Holden Commodore?
For a Commodore Wagon rear blade, lift the arm and swing the blade through its release angle. Ease the socket away from the arm's moulded end, then press the new blade onto the same joint until it seats. Bring the arm back gently and run the washer for a quick check.
What connector type does the Holden Commodore use?
The Commodore front fitting changes by era: VF and VE use pinch tabs; ZB, VY/VZ, VT/VX, VR/VS, VN/VP and VL use J-hook-style front connections. Wagon rear fittings are moulded hook-and-socket types.
Did Holden Commodore wiper blade sizes change between generations?
Yes. ZB is 24/20 inches, VF and VE are 26/15, VY/VZ and VT/VX are 22/20, then VR/VS, VN/VP and VL use 20/20. Rear-equipped Wagons use 12 inches on VF/VE/ZB and 16 inches on the earlier series.
Do the Holden Commodore Sedan and Wagon use the same wiper blades?
Within a given Commodore series, Sedan, Wagon and Ute front sizes generally match. The difference is at the back: Wagons have a rear blade, while Sedans and Utes do not. ZB Hatch and Wagon both use 24/20-inch fronts plus a 12-inch rear.
