How do I identify my Isuzu D-MAX year and series?
Find the Isuzu D-MAX identification plate in the engine compartment and the compliance or build label around a doorway. The ranges are RG from 2020 - 2026, RT from 2012 - 2020 and RA / RC from 2008 - 2012.
For a 2020 build, use the series code and VIN to separate RG from RT. SX, LS-M, LS-U and X-Terrain RG models all take identical blades and connector. The trim badge can be ignored when ordering the wipers.

What is the length of the Isuzu D-MAX wiper blades?
RT and RA/RC D-MAX models use a 19-inch (475 mm) passenger blade beside a 22-inch (550 mm) driver blade. RG variants in SX, LS-M, LS-U and X-Terrain trim keep the driver length at 22 inches but shorten the passenger side to 18 inches (450 mm).
How to install front wiper blades for the Isuzu D-MAX?
Raise the D-MAX wipers where they clear the bonnet and hold the metal arm securely. Open the adaptor latch, ease the blade down the straight section of the J-hook and work the hook free. Thread in the replacement, pull it into the curved section until the catch shuts, test the joint by hand and lower the arm.
What connector type does the Isuzu D-MAX use?
RG, RT and RA/RC D-MAX front wipers all use J-hook connectors.
Did Isuzu D-MAX wiper blade sizes change between generations?
RG uses 22/18 inches, while RT and RA/RC use 22/19. The driver side stays at 22 inches, but the passenger blade is one inch longer on the earlier series.
Do all Isuzu D-MAX generations use the same front wiper-arm connector?
RG, RT and RA/RC D-MAX models share a J-hook front-arm connection.
What's the difference in the Isuzu D-MAX RG and RT?
The 2020 - 2026 RG D-MAX introduced a new platform, stronger safety package, more modern interior and improved refinement. The 2012 - 2020 RT has the older cab and chassis design, simpler electronics and fewer active driver-assistance features.
