How do I identify my Isuzu MU-X year and series?
The Isuzu MU-X build and compliance details are around the driver-side doorway and in the engine bay. Record the manufacture date, VIN and RJ or RF code.
A 2020 MU-X may be RJ or RF, and the front connector changes. RJ uses a flat front arm; RF uses a J-hook. All RJ trims use the same blades and connector.

What is the length of the Isuzu MU-X wiper blades?
Both RJ trim levels use a 22-inch (550mm) driver blade, 17-inch (425mm) passenger blade and 10-inch (250mm) rear. The RF also uses 22 inches (550mm) and 17 inches (425mm) at the front, but has a 12-inch (300mm) rear.
How to install front wiper blades for the Isuzu MU-X?
Changing RJ MU-X fronts is quick and does not call for tools. Swing the blade away from the windscreen, press the button on the narrow connector and pull the old blade from the flat arm.
Line up the replacement and slide it on until the button rises into the opening. Run a hand over the connection, make sure it will not pull free and bring the arm back down. RF blades use a J-hook instead.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Isuzu MU-X?
At the MU-X rear, lift the arm and twist the blade away from its normal angle. Pull it from the locating post, line up the new blade's socket with the stud and snap it into place. Rotate the blade back with the rubber facing the glass, then check that the joint moves smoothly.
What connector type does the Isuzu MU-X use?
The RJ MU-X uses narrow push-button front connectors. The RF MU-X uses J-hooks. Both generations have a rear hook-and-socket style fitting, paired with different rear blade lengths.
Did Isuzu MU-X wiper blade sizes change between generations?

The 2020 - 2026 RJ MU-X introduced a new chassis, stronger safety package, more refined cabin and revised 3.0-litre diesel. The 2013 - 2020 RF uses the older D-MAX-derived platform, with a simpler interior and fewer active driver-assistance features.
