How do I identify my Mazda 2 year and series?
Start with the Mazda 2 body style, either Hatch or Sedan. Its driver's doorway label gives the manufacture date.
DJ, DJ Facelift and DJ 2nd Facelift are Hatch choices, while the 2015 - 2020 Sedan is DL Sedan. No blade or connector change occurs from DE to DJ Hatch in 2014. A 2007 Hatch may be DE or DY, which use different blades; DE is taller and rounder, while DY has squarer lamps.

How to install front wiper blades for the Mazda 2?
On a Mazda 2, start by turning the J-hook blade sideways to uncover its catch. Hold the arm above a cloth, release the adaptor and slip it back along the metal hook. guide the new adaptor through the hook opening, rotate it into line and pull towards the curved end; a click followed by a short reverse pull confirms the connection.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Mazda 2?
For a Mazda 2 Hatch, bring the rear blade out until it forms a T with the arm, then push past the initial resistance to pop it free. Fit the new unit by sending the arm tip through the blade gap, align the crossbar with the arm slot and twist the blade back until it clicks. Return the assembly to the rear window and run a wet test.
What connector type does the Mazda 2 use?
Mazda 2 front wipers across DJ, DL, DE and DY use J-hook connectors.
Did Mazda 2 wiper blade sizes change between generations?
