How do I identify my Subaru WRX year and series?
The Subaru WRX certification label inside a front door opening carries the manufacture details, and the VIN is visible through the lower windscreen. Confirm whether the car is a Sedan or Wagon, then match it to VB, VN or VA.
The year and body make this simple: 2022 - 2026 Sedan is VB, 2022 - 2026 Wagon is VN, and 2014 - 2021 Sedan is VA. VB and VA share the same blade sizes but use different front connectors.

How to install front wiper blades for the Subaru WRX?
Start with the passenger side on a VB or VN WRX. Flip the blade over, press the small tab in the forked push-button adaptor and pull the blade down from the arm. Straddle the replacement adaptor with the forked arm and push until the top button locks.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Subaru WRX?
The VN Wagon rear uses a hook-and-socket connection. Lift the arm, pull the old blade socket from the moulded hook and squeeze the replacement over the hook until the joint closes.
What connector type does the Subaru WRX use?
VB Sedan and VN Wagon use forked push-button fronts. VA Sedan uses J-hook. VN rear is hook-and-socket.
Did Subaru WRX wiper blade sizes change between generations?
No front-length change occurs between VA, VB and VN: all use 26/16 inches. The VN Wagon adds a 12-inch rear blade.

The VB WRX Sedan moves to Subaru's global platform, adds black wheel-arch cladding and uses a tablet-style centre display. The VA WRX Sedan has painted arches, the preceding platform and a more conventional dashboard layout.
