How do I identify my Toyota Kluger year and series?
For the Kluger, look around both front doorways for Toyota's compliance label. Another identifier is stamped in the driver's front floor area. Read the manufacture date before matching the Kluger code.
The choices are XU70 (2021 - 2026), XU50 (2014 - 2020), XU40 (2007 - 2013) and XU20 (2003 - 2007). A 2007 XU40 is larger and more angular, with swept-back headlights and a broader grille. XU20 has a smaller, rounder body and a simpler front. The other date ranges do not overlap.

How to install front wiper blades for the Toyota Kluger?
On the Kluger, point the blade sideways after lifting the arm. Open the small cover, squeeze the release and push the old blade towards the windscreen until the J-hook clears.
Offer the replacement adaptor to the hook from below, draw it upwards until it clicks and shut the cover. Keep hold of the arm until the rubber rests on the glass.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Toyota Kluger?
Raise the Kluger tailgate wiper and turn the blade out from the arm. Pull the centre socket off its hooked locating point. Line the replacement up at the same angle, press it firmly onto the hook and rotate it back into its normal sweep position.
What connector type does the Toyota Kluger use?
XU70, XU50, XU40 and XU20 Klugers use J-hook front arms . The rear is a hook-and-socket connection across all four series.
Did Toyota Kluger wiper blade sizes change between generations?
The XU70 shortens the passenger blade from 20 inches (500mm) to 18 inches (450mm) while retaining the 26-inch (650mm) driver and 12-inch (300mm) rear used by XU50.
Do all Toyota Kluger generations use the same front wiper-arm connector?

What's the difference in the Toyota Kluger XU70 and XU50?
The XU70 Kluger moved to Toyota's TNGA-K platform, adding a more efficient hybrid option, improved safety technology and a more modern cabin. The XU50 uses the older architecture, with a heavier feel and the previous infotainment and driver-assistance systems.
