Toyota Landcruiser Prado Wiper Blades

A 250 Series Prado uses a 22-inch (550 mm) driver blade, 20-inch (500 mm) passenger blade and 12-inch (300 mm) rear. The 150 Series changes to 26 inches (650 mm), 20 inches (500 mm) and 12 inches (300 mm). The 120 Series takes 22 inches (550 mm), 21 inches (525 mm) and 17 inches (425 mm), while the 90 Series uses 19 inches (475 mm), 18 inches (450 mm) and 14 inches (350 mm).

Lift one Prado arm at a time and lay a cloth across the glass beneath it. Turn the old J-hook blade across the arm, depress the adaptor catch and slide the blade towards the open end of the hook. Thread on the replacement, pull it firmly into the curved section, check the click and lower the arm slowly.

Grip the Prado rear blade near its centre, rotate it away from the window and pop the socket clear of the arm hook. Place the new socket over that hook, press until the joint closes and return the blade flat against the rear glass.

All four Prado series use J-hook connectors at the front. The 250 and 150 Series use hook-and-socket rear fittings; the 120 and 90 Series have J-hook rear arms.

The change is easy to miss between some series. Prado 250 is 22/20/12 inches and 150 is 26/20/12. The 120 Series changes to 22/21/17, while the 90 Series drops to 19/18/14.

The 2024 - 2026 Prado 250 Series has boxier styling, a stiffer GA-F ladder frame, electric power steering and an eight-speed automatic. The 2009 - 2024 150 Series is rounder, uses the older chassis and pairs its diesel with a six-speed automatic.
