How do I identify my Volkswagen Polo year and series?
Confirm whether the Volkswagen Polo is a Hatch or Sedan. Its data sticker is beneath the luggage floor and in the service record, while the door-opening compliance label gives the build date.
No blade or connector change occurred with the 2021 AE/AW update. A 2017 Hatch may be AW or 6R, which differ: AW is wider and lower with a broad grille line, while 6R is rounder and narrower.

How to install front wiper blades for the Volkswagen Polo?
On AE, AW and 6R Polo models, press the narrow top button and push the blade towards the arm tip. Put a towel under the bare arm while the blade is off. Slide the replacement onto the flat rail until the button clicks through; 9N3 uses the same action with a wider push-button fitting.
How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Volkswagen Polo?
AE, AW and 6R rear blades use a push-button slide-lock: depress the top release and pull the blade along the arm. The 9N3 and 9N rear uses a fork-and-pin latch, while 6N has a small J-hook connection. Match the replacement movement to that joint rather than forcing it sideways.
What connector type does the Volkswagen Polo use?

How do I activate wiper service position on a Volkswagen Polo?
For an AE or AW Polo, start with the ignition active, then switch it off. Tap the wiper lever down once during the next 10 seconds and the arms will rise. After refitting, reactivate the ignition and tap the lever again to park them.
