Volkswagen Touareg Wiper Blades

Volkswagen Touareg measurements are:

Put the CR Touareg wipers in the raised service position first. Hold the narrow top button down and draw the adaptor off in line with the arm. Keep the new blade square as it slides on, then check that the button has popped fully through the cut-out.

The CR Touareg rear arm uses a push-button slide-lock. Lift the 14-inch blade clear, depress the small latch and draw the blade off the flat arm. Push the replacement along the same path until the latch returns into the arm opening.

CR Touareg front wipers use a narrow push button. The 7P and both 7L shapes use side-pin connectors.

Both 7L and 7P have two 26-inch fronts, while CR changes the passenger side to 22 inches and keeps a 26-inch driver blade. At the back, 7L uses 13 inches and CR uses 14 inches.

CR Facelift dimensions remain 26 inches driver, 22 inches passenger and 14 inches rear. The 7L Facelift likewise retains two 26-inch fronts and the 7L's 13-inch rear.

CR has narrow push-button front arms. Volkswagen used side-pin arms on 7P and 7L, including the 7L Facelift.

With the bonnet shut, turn the ignition on, turn it off again, then tap the wiper stalk down. The blades should travel to the upright maintenance setting, where the arms can be raised safely. Once the replacement blades are fitted, rest the arms on the windscreen and repeat the stalk action with the ignition on to return them to park.

The 2019 - 2026 CR Touareg runs on the Volkswagen Group's MLB Evo platform and puts a large digital instrument panel and centre screen across the dash. The 2011 - 2018 7P is more upright, with smaller displays and far more conventional switches and controls.
